Are you currently taking new patients?

Dr. Aaron Heller is accepting new patients for primary care as well as OMT

Brenna Reichman, NP is taking new patients for psychiatric care as well as new gender diverse patients.

Paula Esteva Slack, DNP, will be accepting new patients seasonally from January-April.

Dr. Amanda Hallberg and Dr. John Scheerer, and Dr. Sean Zager are not accepting new patients at this time. Please continue to monitor our website and Facebook page as this is where we will announce any practice openings.  We apologize but there is no wait list.

What kind of insurance do you accept?

Our providers participate with a variety of different insurance plans.  As always when you are interested in seeing a new provider it is advised that you contact your insurance carrier to make sure the provider is in network with your particular plan.  Furthermore, it's important to make sure that your plan is for our location at 2800 S. State St.

It's a great opportunity for you to ask questions and get familiar with your benefits.  We will do our best to assist you in understanding your benefits but we do encourage you to take a proactive role in all aspects of your health care including insurance.

  • Abby is a fee-for-service provider.  Some insurance companies are starting to cover acupuncture and if yours is one, please consult with Abby about billing.

Robert Piper, Counseling
  • Robert accepts BCBS and offers sliding scale rates for those with other insurance coverage.

How can I get refills on my prescriptions?

Refilling your scripts is easy!  The best way is to use FollowMyHealth our online portal or you can Email or give us a call several days before you run out of your medication.  We ask for 24 - 48 hours to handle your request.  Tell us your name, medication, dosage and the name and location of the pharmacy you would like your prescription sent. 
**Certain prescriptions cannot be sent electronically and must be picked up in our office.  


I need to see a doctor immediately, what are my options?

If this is a true emergency, you need to call 9-1-1 or go to the ER immediately

If you need to see the doctor, please give us a call.  If you are a current patient, we will make every attempt to fit you into the schedule or have the doctor call and talk to you.  It is often difficult to schedule new patients for immediate appointments.  Please remember that we are a small, independent practice and there may be times that our schedule is completely booked.  If this happens and you need to see a doctor immediately, we suggest that you visit an Urgent Care for treatment.

For non-urgent communications with the doctors, we ask that you give us 1-3 business days to reply.  Sending multiple portal messages or leaving multiple messages may delay response time.

If you are a new patient, please give our office a call at 734-547-3990.  If you are a current patient, log into your patient portal at FollowMyHealth and electronically set up or cancel an appointment or give us a call.

Appointment times at Integrative Health last longer than those at other practices.  This gives us the amount of time needed to really get to know you and to review your history in-depth so that we can come up with a well-rounded treatment plan.  In general, appointment times are as follows:

I have a billing question, who do I call?

How do I log into my Patient Fusion Account?

You should have been sent an invitation to join the portal by the office at your first appointment.  Please note that you cannot sign up for the portal using the appointment reminder note about the portal.  Once you receive the invitation, it's easy to set up your account.  You can either call us to get the access code or you can request that the code be sent to you using your cell phone.  The invitation is only valid for a month so if you do not use it, you need to contact us to obtain a new invitation. If you are having difficulty logging in, it may mean that you haven't logged in for awhile.  Patient Fusion underwent some changes to enhance security and it may be necessary for you to reset your account, please follow these instructions:  Resetting Patient Fusion
